Jennifer Perlmutter
Chief Nursing Officer, Westover Hills Baptist Hospital
Jennifer Perlmutter is Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of Westover Hills Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Baptist Health System's newest acute care hospital on the far west side.
Jennifer comes to Baptist Health System most recently from Texas Vista Medical Center where she was Chief Nursing Officer. Prior to Texas Vista, Jennifer served as Associate
Chief Nursing Officer at Baptist Medical Center, a role she held for more than
three years. During her tenure with us, Jennifer has also served Associate CNO
for St. Luke’s for three years. Jennifer’s nursing roots were in Women’s
Services with a focus on Labor & Delivery. She held a number of roles at
Parkview Health System in Fort Wayne, Indiana, culminating as Director of
Women’s Services before coming to Baptist.
Jennifer has more than 30 years of nursing experience with increasing leadership responsibility for operational, clinical, financial, and strategic direction in nursing. She has been highly successful in growing programs, as well as developing improvements in quality, safety, patient experience and employee satisfaction.
Jennifer serves on multiple area committees to include President Elect for South Central Texas Organization of Nursing Leadership, Best for Baby, Nursing Board Member for Palo Alto College, and Adjunct Facility Member for WGU and UT San Antonio.
