ACE Demonstration at Baptist

Keep the change, in your life and in your pocket. If you have Medicare part A and B coverage and need a cardiac procedure or orthopedic surgery, you may be eligible to receive a shared savings payment from Medicare.

The Acute Care Episode demonstration (ACE) is a test program designed by Medicare to improve the way healthcare is delivered. Baptist Health System is the only hospital system in Texas that was selected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to participate in the demonstration.

If you're eligible for the ACE project, you can receive a payment up to 50 percent of Medicare's savings, as much as $1,157 (the Medicare Part B annual premium).
